ABSTRACT
The Covid-19 pandemic has made people make adjustments in carrying out their activities by implementing health protocols. Besides that, excessive stress and anxiety are natural things experienced by employees during a pandemic. This study aimed to reveal the causality relationship of several variables related to the pandemic, namely health protocols and work stress, to measure whether these variables have a causal relationship to job satisfaction and performance. This study is a quantitative study using the SEM-PLS path analysis method processed with the SmartPLS application. The research was conducted at Banyuwangi International Airport with a population of 125 people and a total sample of 96 people using a stratified proportionate sampling technique. The result shows that the health protocol influences job satisfaction and employee performance, while work stress affects performance but not job satisfaction. Job satisfaction directly affects employee performance and is able to mediate the relationship between health protocols and employee performance but fails to mediate the relationship between work stress and employee performance.
